A Canadian charitable society dedicated to assisting with the Victoria Lighthouse Education Centre in rural Uganda. We have completed a good deal of the school building and are now focusing on finishing the interior and external grounds, as well as other buildings on the property to support the school's needs. To date we have cemented the floors in the building, built new latrines and purchase text books for everyone. IN the future we have to update the water collection system (the existing one is broken), finish the walls and build a new kitchen.
There are 600 children attending the school and for the last three years the school has been rated as one of the top primary schools in the area. An incredible feat for a small, rural school.
