We work collaboratively to help ensure every displaced man, women and child asking for Europe's help gets the support they need to start their new life with dignity. That is, to have a place to live, enough food to eat, clothes to wear, warmth, lighting and hygiene. Along with access to essential information and education. We primarily do this by raising money that helps fund inspiring humanitarian projects delivered on-the-ground by our grassroots volunteer partners. We work together keeping people and hope alive. Did you know that at the UK border in northern France there's no shelter and little food or water for refugees? That rising hostility is played out through police brutality and cruel policy? Meanwhile, on the Greek mainland, evictions are making hundreds of families street homeless, living in poverty. Whilst the Greek arrival islands buckle under severe over-crowding, lack of basic hygiene and appalling food within camps sending tensions inside the camps, and right wing violence outside of them, soaring. Life for refugees in Europe's hot spots in 2020 is utterly miserable. The hope in people's eyes is disappearing, the smiles are fading... Now that you know, will you help? Within this devastating environment our volunteers are too often providing the only lifeline to refugees. Donate4Refugees uniquely brings together donations from individuals, businesses and trusts to give grants and emergency funding to our trusted grassroots partners on-the-ground. Those volunteers supporting refugee communities on Europe's front-lines. Together we're filling shamefully big gaps in aid and humanity and, without the tireless dedication of our volunteers, refugee men, women and children would be struggling to even survive. We're acting now providing very real help, human-to-human, to many of the world's most vulnerable people. We only wish we didn't have to.

The Idjwi Island Education Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the mission of providing a better school for children in the village of Buhumba on Idjwi Island in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Idjwi Island, located in Lake Kivu on the eastern border of the DRC, has seen a dramatic increase in its population in recent years, much of which is the result of refugees fleeing violence in Rwanda and the DRC. A substantial number of these new residents are children, including many orphans. Approximately 400 children attend the existing primary school. This makeshift school is overcrowded, has a leaky roof, and does not provide desks or even books for the students. In 2009, Them Nyamunongo, who grew up on Idjwi and now works in Washington, D.C., returned to visit family on the island. During his stay, he gave gifts to children that he met in Buhumba. As he spent time with the children, he learned about the extremely poor conditions at the school, including how it has become overcrowded due to the increase in refugees and orphans. The children told him that their true wish was for a school with a roof so that they were not sent home every time that it rained. When Them returned to Washington, D.C., he and his wife, Safi, approached a friend who is a director at a local preschool. From this meeting in late 2009, the Idjwi Island Education Fund was formed. In just over eighteen months, the Idjwi Island Education Fund has obtained property in Buhumba for the new school (which was donated by Them's family), met with and conducted a needs assessment with the director of the existing school, and provided some interim support for the facilities at the existing school. The Fund has recruited a board of directors that includes professionals with experience in international development and project management. The Fund has also conducted a series of fundraising events through which it has raised more than $15,000, in gifts ranging from $20 to 1,000, from more than 100 different donors. With this foundation in place, the Fund is intensifying its efforts on the design program for the new school, interviewing representatives of other non-governmental organizations with experience with similar projects in the region, and identifying local organizations to collaborate in the building process. The ultimate goal of this effort is to provide improved facilities, desks, books, and a safe-haven for more than 400 primary school children in this isolated community.

Girls Education Mission International was emerged out of a pressing need among young women and girls who face gender-based discrimination and are therefore deprived of education and training opportunities to attain a better life. Despite improvements in global and national laws and policies that provide the normative framework for women to advance their rights, it is imperative to acknowledge that a vast number of girls continue to experience violence and gender discrimination at home, in schools and in their communities especially when it comes to getting an education. As part of our smart and creative strategy to better the lives of humanity, we are committed to eradicating poverty, building peace and creating sustainable impact among young women and girls using education to achieve this aim. We believe that girls education and empowerment is the vital tool to harness innovation to improvise novel solution that are not only smart and creative but also more effective, efficient and just in achieving demonstrable results when it comes to tackling the challenges continue to face globally. Our main activities for Ukrainian refugees: - we organize the biggest collection of food, hygiene products, clothes, medicaments, etc. in the region - we run the largest gift warehouse in the region, which is open from Monday till Saturday. - we have registered over 1 thousand refugees, which we help, but we relocate also our help to other destinations in the region or even in Warsaw as at the beginning we are welled organized - we find shelter for all of the refugees we help- cover food for them, and all needed products - we cooperate with local authorities and schools to integrate the refugees - We cover cost of school starter kit for kids going to school - we work with companies to find jobs for refugees - we pay for school dinners for children - we work with over 200 volunteers regularly

Odibu Foundation mission seeks to provide mobile healthcare to address the problem of poor health access in Nigeria at no cost to patients. We seek to provide care for transmissible diseases such as HIV, as well as conditions like diabetes and hypertension. We are also concerned with providing specialized care for family planning. This would include access to free birth control, as well as pre-natal and post-natal care and care for infants. The social problem to be addressed: The communities in Northern Cross River State, due to lack of knowledge, information and orientation in health and hygiene the grass root level villagers cannot understand the need of immunization, importance of growth monitoring, technique of low cost nutritious food preparation, different methods of birth control, spacing between two children, importance using sanitary or pit type latrine, preparation of safe drinking water, maintenance of personal hygiene and disposal of waste products from the home and practices to maintain good health. In fact sound health deteriorates here with the increase of superstition and wrong method of treatment. So the incidence of maternal mortality, child mortality, morbidity, dehydration and malnutrition rate and other infectious diseases are quite high as per our community diagnosis. The existing Dai are not qualified so they cannot diagnosis in the case of high-risk pregnancies properly. The quacks are not trained. They depend on limited indigenous knowledge. The diversity and multiplicity of the problem can be decreased with some comprehensive program in this matter. At the time of feeling pain, they have to take to distant primary health center but on the way the pregnant women face great problem. Sometime the pregnant women are compelled to give birth their children under the open sky. So most of the patients have to go to town but some of them die in the street. Health care in Nigeria is not accessible, affordable, or high+quality as the residents of Nigeria deserve. Nigeria has one of the highest infant and maternal mortality rates in the world.16% of children die before their fifth birthday from complete preventable diseases like malaria and diarrhea. When treatment is many miles away, it is expensive to get to it, and many Nigerians simply cannot afford to get to a hospital or do not have transportation. Our foundation is dedicated to relieving the suffering and uncertainty of Nigeria children and underprivileged people. These individuals become victim to the shackle of poverty where the simplest necessities of life such as food, healthcare, shelter, clean water, sanitation and hygiene are often not within their reach.

SHARE is dedicated to researching and proposing laws and policies related to SRHR, providing medical information and support, and offering resources and training programs for comprehensive sexuality education (CSE). SHARE aims to build a society where everyone can enjoy their sexual and reproductive rights and achieve social justice. [Vision] SHARE creates a society where everyone enjoys sexual and reproductive rights without being discriminated against or excluded and, based on sufficient information and equal resources, mutually builds capacity. [Mission] SHARE creates a heartwarming and comfortable space where anyone can visit at any time without hesitation and share any kind of story. SHARE creates an environment for grounded and accurate counseling and accessible treatment and creates a society free from discrimination. SHARE forms networks with diverse fields and social movements at home and abroad and raises civil society's awareness of SRHR. SHARE builds systems whereby diverse people can access sexual and reproductive information and support needed in their lives and creates and provides educational materials that are easy to understand comprehensive and include sufficient content. SHARE researches on and publicizes laws and policies to realize sexual rights and reproductive justice based on field circumstances and experiences. SHARE aims at a horizontal culture and operation and emphasizes members' capacity-building and happiness. SHARE challenges normality and, based on intersectionality and diversity, forges solidarity and creates change. SHARE resists the illegalization and criminalization of particular kinds of sex and reproduction and activates rights instead of prohibitions.

Die Tafel Osterreich is an independent and non-denominational environmental and community aid association. In 2023 Die Tafel Osterreich emerged from Wiener Tafel, the oldest Food Bank in Austria. In Austria every year about 1.000.000 tons of food is wasted. At the same time over 1,5 million people are endangered of becoming poor or already live in poverty. Almost a quarter of these are children and young people who are at risk of poverty or exclusion. Die Tafel Osterreich - der Verein fur sozialen Transfer has taken on the task of fighting poverty, food insecurity, and food waste. Inspired by the concept of food banks in Germany, our organization has been saving and redistributing food for over 25 years. In doing so we have become part of a close-meshed network of the social landscape, economy, science, and civil society to effectively tackle the issues of food insecurity and food waste. Today we serve approximately 75.000 people living in poverty in charities such as women's shelters, homeless shelters, refugee homes, The range of charities supported by the Die Tafel Osterreich is as wide and colourful as the organization itself. Through our ongoing cooperation and exchange with a great number of established Austrian charities, we are constantly shaping the social landscape. Considering the extremely high number of perfectly good food going to waste, this process causes CO2-emissions that are permanently threatening our environment. Since we are saving approximately 4 tons of food every day from unnecessarily being thrown away, we play an active part in saving on emissions - a crucial factor in fighting climate change. The image of food banks has changed rapidly over the past few years. They have become a place where more than supplies are being exchanged, a place for social encounters, constant dialogue, and inclusion. A total of 290 volunteers, also from companies, with various backgrounds and stories are supporting the Tafel Osterreich each year, contributing immensely to an open-minded and inclusive atmosphere. At the same time, it is essential to promote an appreciative use of food at various levels of society and to enable a constructive discourse on the connection between poverty and nutrition. For an all-encompassing approach to end social injustice and the waste of perfectly edible food we believe it is therefore crucial to raise awareness on a broad social basis. That is why we further distribute our knowledge and practical experience through low-threshold projects to help people to learn and discover for themselves.

Without derogating from the generality of the aforegoing the activities of the Foundation , inter alia , include: Disaster management and humanitarian aid delivery in crises whether natural or man-made including floods, cyclones, hurricanes, earthquakes , tornado, accidents and war; Establishment of medical facilities , clinics and hospitals; Delivery of medicines and medical equipment; Establishment of feeding schemes, food parcel delivery and poverty relief programmes including assistance with burial and funeral arrangements, provision of new and used clothing, blankets and baby milk powder; Provision of boreholes, waterwells and water purification tablets; Provision of free telephonic and face-face counselling services in matters of depression, drug abuse, relationship problems, HIV/AIDS, marital discord, parenting, learning difficulties, teenage problems, child abuse, domestic violence, maintenance grants, etc. ; Establishment of Drug Rehab Centres and Havens for the abused; women and children in particular; Establishment of orphanages and old age homes; Provision of wheelchairs, hearing aids, braille machines and any such equipment and aids to assist physically and mentally challenged individuals; Provision of Life Skills training; empowerment counselling and skills in counselling; Establishment of skills development programmes, entrepreneul skills and job creation projects; Promoting South Africa as a means to encourage tourism, investment and further job creation initiatives; Provision of agricultural implements and Farmer's Packs (seeds, fertiliser , LAN, etc.) to promote food security and self sustainability; Establishment of educational institutions whether religious or secular; Provision of bursaries, textbooks, stationery, computers, technology workshops and other educational support; Establishment of places of worship including a tekke (meeting place for dervishes or disciples); Promotion of peace, tolerance, understanding, love, mercy and inter-faith dialopue between people, communities, cultures and religions; Promotion of faith, spirituality and religious awareness ; Establishment of community radio, television and media to assist with all the above principles; Support of artists who can promote all the above principles through song , writings, etc.

Jobortunity exists to transform the lives of youth in Tanzania by making them employable. We offer youth from vulnerable backgrounds, that otherwise wouldn't have access to education due to systemic barriers, an opportunity to change their trajectory. The impact Jobortunity has on youth has far reaching implications for the community and the nation - it helps to develop the economy, break the cycle of generational poverty, and create a talent pipeline for employers. Tanzania faces a massive youth unemployment problem. According to the statistics, only 2 out of 100 youth in Tanzania attain employment after schooling (Source: Prime Minister's Office - Jobs, Youth, Employment and people with disabilities, Mwananchi Data, 2019). However, employers report that they struggle to find qualified employees and their retention rate is very low. When we began to study this situation in 2008, this equation didn't add up. We identified that the root of the problem is a skills gap i.e. youth lack the knowledge, skills and especially the attitude for employment - youth in general are untrained in the 21st century skills required to obtain and retain a job in the modern workplace. Therefore, Jobortunity has developed an approach to fill this skills gap and teach 21st century skills to youth from vulnerable and challenging backgrounds. Our 3H (Head, Hands & Heart) and Hi5 approaches instill the skills needed for youth to successfully engage with the constantly changing professional world. For the past 11 years, Jobortunity youth have become self-reliant, are employable, and retain jobs. More than on average 75% of our graduates obtain a decent job and remain employed. Moreover, the feedback from employers is positive and they continue to request and hire our graduates. Communities have also reaped far-reaching benefits. Every person with a job supports at least 3 to 5 family members, and many of our graduates have been able to return home to help build infrastructure to benefit the community at large. Graduates feel professionally fulfilled in their working environment and live balance and meaningful lives. Our mission is that disadvantaged youth aged 18 to 25 secure decent employment in companies, feel professionally fulfilled in their working environment and live balanced and meaningful lives. In addition, we contribute to overcome the skills gap between youth (with and without formal education) and companies' employability needs. We provide companies with professional staff to strengthen the service industry in Tanzania. Our wider vision is that these young people can provide a dignified livelihood for themselves, they support their families and impact their communities in a positive and sustainable manner.

To promote the dignity and respect of women and girls, protecting them and their children from the social and personal repercussions of irresponsible parenthood and the degrading influences of slum life. Years of work in the lower-income areas of Venezuela prompted us, 35 years ago, to create 'Alive to the World', an original values-based curriculum, specially prepared by a team of international experts, designed for classroom use. Alive to the World uses positive psychology for each and every developmental stage of growth from preschool to adulthood, educating in understanding the importance of values and integrity, appealing to the emotions and demonstrating their use in everyday life ("Educating Head, Heart and Hand", T. Lickona). Our program, Alive to the World, in fully aligned with UNESCO's Goals for the XXI Century: Knowledge, Motivation and Skills. Seeing the effectivity of the story-telling technique, the anthropologically structured scaffolding and the non-judgemental approach to strengthening the person, family and community in all regions, our goal and mission is to implement our program in all deprived schools in Venezuela. To be active and outspoken in bringing public awareness to the dangers of a growing cohort of young males, with no formation in values, joining gangs, and the corresponding teenage mothers, in the vicious cycle of abandoned street children. To work to end the epidemic vicious cycle of poverty resulting from single, unprepared mothers and fatherless children in Venezuela with a coherent, structured and easily applicable educational program. To lead our team of experts in creating, updating, testing and improving educational curricula for the promotion of the universal values of integrity and responsibility in the modern world, constantly adapting to present challenges. To lead a concerted and special effort to teach the logic of the universally recognized values, and the logic of the Golden Rule. We are aware this need exists as not only the streets become dangerous but schools become ever more chaotic. The objective is to help children to grow in an understanding of the need to consider others, in every way, as they would like to be considered. This is the Golden Rule. To be happy and useful, they must learn to respect others, as they want to be respected and to treat others, as they would like to be treated. To educate young mothers in their children's growing experience focused on their future needs to live with human dignity. To design, coordinate and implement local programs in politically, socially and economically stricken Venezuela to help the pregnant mother, as well as their future children, healthy or challenged. To connect families with challenged babies with international experts in pursuit of their true potential, facilitating trained personnel to instruct and implement techniques and methods of achieving tailored programs of human potential at home. This program is called 'Proyecto Leopoldo'. Finally, our mission is to rebuild Venezuela teaching integrity to children and adolescents through this proven method.

Femme International is committed to using education, conversation & distribution to break down the global menstrual taboo. Menstruation affects 51% of the world's population, with every woman experiencing menses during her lifetime. For menstruators in low-income communities, getting your period presents a set of specific challenges - poor access to menstrual products, oppressive taboos, lack of adequate hygiene facilities, and lack of reproductive health education. 83% of girls in Burkina Faso, and 77% in Nigeria (UNICEF) have no place to clean themselves at school, and will therefore leave early. The World Bank has estimated that girls will miss 10-20% of her education because of her body's natural cycle. Femme believes that providing adolescent girls not only with reusable menstrual products, but also comprehensive education, empowers them to feel in control of their bodies, and breaks down the menstrual taboo. When women lack access to sanitary pads, either by financial constraints or lack of availability, they will use alternative methods. In India, 88% of menstruating women use homemade methods. In Tanzania, the most common method is to use rags, or cloth, folded into the underwear - something women have been doing for centuries. However, when the cloth is not washed properly, used when damp, or shared among sisters, it becomes unsafe. Other homemade methods common in Tanzania include foam mattress stuffing, newspaper, leaves, even mud. These methods are not safe or hygienic, and they are uncomfortable, preventing girls from being able to concentrate or participate in school. They also don't help girls feel comfortable during a week when they are already feeling ashamed of their bodies. Unsafe menstrual management is a leading cause of reproductive tract infections (UTIs, yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis), which when untreated can cause more serious health concerns. The decision to use and promote reusable products is because sanitary pads are unaffordable for many women. The average cost of a package of 8 pads in Tanzania is approximately $1/day, which is often the same as the daily wage for an unskilled labourer. For a 14-year old girl, she will rarely feel comfortable asking the male breadwinner for this money, and they will rarely be able to provide her with it. A study in Kenya indicated that one in ten girls aged 15 had engaged in transactional sex to purchase pads. In rural Tanzania, or even urban centers, there is no method of garbage disposal beyond burning. Many women report burying their products, but must do so far away from their homes because of the perceived destructive powers of menstrual blood. The environmental impact of disposable menstrual products is staggering, and unsustainable, both financially and environmentally. The Twaweza Project is simple - and it works. Preliminary M&E reports demonstrate significant impact, including improved academic results and attendance, improved self-confidence, reduction of financial stress, and improved health. Adolescent beneficiaries are two times less likely to report symptoms of bacterial vaginosis.
