From the website: "American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities (ALSAC) was founded by Danny Thomas in 1957 to be the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and its sole mission is to raise the funds and awareness necessary to operate and maintain the hospital. In the years ahead, an estimated 89% of the funds necessary to sustain and grow St. Jude must be raised by ALSAC from generous donors."

To maximize dollars available for Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center's most promising lifesaving research, treatment and prevention programs, while supporting the psychosocial needs of patients and families touched by cancer. Fundraising events and initiatives are carried out through a partnership between committed Roswell Park Alliance volunteers and Foundation staff.

The NPCF (founded May 2009) strives to provide quality of life, sustainability and dignity to those we serve. Through our volunteers we provide an opportunity of hope and caring for those afflicted by this devastating disease. We also provide the opportunity for their family members to help fight one of the leading causes of cancer deaths in the United States. There is no known cure, however, there are new developments everyday to prolong and sustain the quality of life of the patient.

The LIVESTRONG Foundation fights to improve the lives of people affected by cancer now. Created in 1997, the Foundation is known for leading an ongoing dialogue with patients and survivors, providing free cancer support services and advocating for policies that improve access to care and quality of life. TargetCancer Foundation promotes the development of lifesaving treatment protocols for rare cancers. TargetCancer Foundation directly supports initiatives at the forefront of cancer treatment by funding innovative research, fostering collaborations, and raising awareness among scientists, clinicians, and patients.

Hope Hollow’s mission is to offer welcome, hospitality and hope by providing lodging, meals, transportation assistance and emotional support …at no cost…to cancer patients and their loved ones, who are financially in need, while receiving cancer treatment in Columbus, Ohio.

Since our founding in 1979, The Skin Cancer Foundation has saved and improved lives. We empower people to take a proactive approach to daily sun protection and the early detection and treatment of skin cancer.

LivFree was created to provide kids and their families an experience to help give them a break from treatment and provide some family fun time. Whether it be a visit to a movie theater, a sporting event or anything in between, we help families have something to look forward to during their tough time.

The Foundation's mission is to Detect, Treat, Educate, and Eliminate breast cancer: To raise and award funds for breast cancer detection, for breast cancer treatment, for education on the importance of early and regular screenings, and for research to eliminate the disease. Approximately 90% of the Foundation's grants will continue to be granted to charities and non-profits in Fauquier and Loudoun counties, with the other 10% to regional research.

Since 1953, The Tommy Fund for Childhood Cancer, has supported families whose children are undergoing cancer treatments at Smilow Cancer Hospital at Yale New Haven. The Tommy Fund provides direct payment for rent, mortgage and utility bills so parents can take time off from work to tend to their child. The clinic sees several hundred newly-diagnosed children each year and treats more children with cancer than any other hospital in Connecticut.
