No Person Goes Hungry & No Food Goes to Waste!

TRACTOR (Toe River Aggregation Center Training Organization Regional, Inc.) works to increase access to locally grown food by supporting small farmers and connecting them with consumers and institutions. They provide distribution services, farmer capacity-building, and programs (like clinical referrals and a community CSA) that expand equitable access to fresh, regionally produced food while strengthening local farm economies.

For Children Partners raises funds to provide school meals for children so no student is denied breakfast or lunch during the school day; it focuses on supporting a District‑Wide Angel Fund to make school meals available to food‑insecure students in Wake County.

Sent Ones Ministry is a faith-based community nonprofit that runs regular community meals and distributes basic living essentials to people experiencing need. The organization’s stated purpose centers on serving the vulnerable with hospitality, dignity, and connection through monthly meals and local outreach.

The mission of the Jonnycake Center is to provide basic needs, resources, and hope to our community members. Our vision is a community without hunger and poverty where everyone can reach their full potential and improve their quality of life.

To end hunger and reduce food waste on Long Island.   Island Harvest was created in 1992 by one woman with a cooler, a station wagon, and a strong desire to help people in need. Linda Breitstone, our founder, was infuriated that food from a local convenience store was being thrown away at the end of the day – with a soup kitchen down the street. In response, she established Island Harvest and our mission, “to end hunger and reduce food waste on Long Island.”

IFC confronts the causes and responds to the effects of poverty in our community. We believe in a community where everyone's basic needs are met, including dignified and affordable housing, an abundance of healthy food, and meaningful social connection.

TO PROVIDE FOOD TO THOSE IN NEED

The Gleaners collect surplus food and agricultural products and distribute them countywide to people and agencies in need, with programs for families, seniors, and partner agencies. Their work focuses on reducing food waste while alleviating hunger throughout Kern County.

Treasure Coast Food Bank works to relieve hunger on Florida’s Treasure Coast by securing and distributing food and essential items, partnering with local agencies to provide emergency food, direct distribution programs, and services that help families move toward long-term food security.
