The pantry provides emergency and routine food assistance to residents of western Bureau County (including Sheffield and neighboring towns), operating a weekly distribution from the Concord Township building and offering food boxes, holiday baskets, and basic personal-care items to households in need. This work is locally organized and primarily serves low-income families and individuals in the county.

Feeding the Foothills (Placer Food Bank) works to reduce hunger in El Dorado, Nevada, and Placer counties by securing and distributing food through a network of partner agencies, running community distribution programs, and educating and advocating on hunger-related issues. The organization focuses on sustaining communities by providing nutritious food, assisting people with benefit enrollment (e.g., CalFresh), and responding to emergency food needs.

Nisky NOW (Nutrition on Weekends) is a volunteer-run local nonprofit that provides weekly food deliveries, pantry access, and basic essentials to Niskayuna students and their families facing food insecurity. The program partners with the school district and community organizations to keep participation confidential and to connect families with additional resources.

Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin is the leading hunger-relief organization in the state, operating food banks in Milwaukee and the Fox Valley. Together with their members, they are providing healthy and nutritious food to those who face hunger. They are also developing innovative solutions to improve the health of their communities.

The mission of the Merrimack Valley Food Bank (MVFB) is to help meet a person's most profound need for adequate nutrition and freedom from hunger. Through our partnerships and collaboration with poverty and anti-hunger non-profit organizations, MVFB addresses barriers that prevent low to moderate income families and individuals from accessing healthy food; engages the community to join our mission; and works to bring about economic change by providing low-income individuals and families with resources to improve their economic situation. Only through cooperative efforts can society initiate change, develop strategies to alleviate hunger and work toward improving the quality of life for all people.
