Hudson River Sloop Clearwater

Hudson River Sloop Clearwater's mission is to preserve and protect the Hudson River. Inspiring, educating, and activating millions of people for nearly 50 years, member-supported Clearwater continues to lead the environmental movement, working to pass landmark legislation, delivering award-winning education programs, building grassroots support, and staging renowned musical celebrations. The sloop Clearwater offers programs on the vessel for schools and the general public that focus on the history and ecology of the Hudson, to date over 500,000 people have sailed aboard the sloop. Each year, over 15,000 people experience a Clearwater program - which have won multiple awards and served as models models for similar shipboard programs around the country.

LGBT Community Center (NYC)

Established in 1983, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center is at the heart of the LGBT community in New York City, providing quality health and wellness programs in a welcoming space that fosters connections and celebrates our cultural contributions. We strive to serve the LGBT community with a full-service, multi-faceted approach to programming, from hosting arts and entertainment events, advocacy groups and family gatherings to offering youth, recovery and overall wellness programs. 

Family Equality Council

Family Equality’s mission is to advance legal and lived equality for LGBTQ families, and for those who wish to form them, through building community, changing hearts and minds, and driving policy change. Wish Upon a Teen

Wish Upon a Teen is dedicated to providing resources, time and opportunities to teenagers with severe life limiting medical conditions. Through creative, social, and educational opportunities, these teens will rediscover and rebuild their self-esteem as they continue their journey to adulthood. Wish Upon a Teen is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, established in May of 2011, to help teenagers who have developmental or medical conditions. Through creative and interactive social and educational events, these teens will rediscover and rebuild their self-esteem as they continue their journey to adulthood. Wish Upon a Teen's founder, Michelle Soto, has extensive experience caring for children and teenagers,through this experience she has learned that teens are frequently left behind. In effect, the combination of normal teenage stressors plus the impact of learning disabilities and, or life limiting illnesses can make the normal transition to adulthood difficult. Wish Upon a Teen continuously provides ongoing support to an age-group not frequently targeted by those in the charitable community. Wish Upon a Teen provides support to teenagers throughout the country.

Livvy's Love Inc

Livvy's Love Inc. ("Livvy's Love"), was created by Norman and Nikki Hayes in memory of their daughter, Olivia Nicole Hayes, to provide financial support in the form of scholarships and grant awards to deserving youth between the ages of 5-21 years old. To honor Olivia’s precious memory and incredible appetite for education, extracurricular activities, and community service, her family created this non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, Livvy’s Love, Inc.

Children Mending Hearts is dedicated to empowering disadvantaged youth through educational and arts programs that build empathy and global citizenry. Common Threads is a national nonprofit that provides children and families cooking and nutrition education to encourage healthy habits that contribute to wellness. We equip under-resourced communities with information to make affordable, nutritious and appealing food choices wherever they live, work, learn, and play. We know that food is rooted in culture and tradition so we promote diversity in our lessons and recipes, encouraging our participants to celebrate their culture.
