A Better Life – Pet Rescue, Inc. helps to promote the adoption of rescued animals throughout Central Florida. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance through rescue and rehabilitation.Our mission is to rescue animals from unfortunate situations and empower members of the community to foster animals until the pet is ready for placement in their forever home. We work with a few foster homes who take in animals that are neglected, abused and in desperate need of help. We will also work with families who have chosen to rehome their pet if they are willing to foster until the best home is found. We are all volunteers who believe that no matter how small a group, you can always make a difference.

Founded by renowned primatologist Jane Goodall, the Jane Goodall Institute is a global nonprofit that empowers people to make a difference for all living things. Our work builds on Dr. Goodall’s scientific work and her humanitarian vision. The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is committed to making our community a place in which all animals are valued. This means keeping them safe from abuse, neglect and other harmful situations. We investigate all signs of cruelty, neglect, and abuse to all types of animals. This includes responding to calls regarding sick or injured animals.

Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter, Inc. (BARCS), is a non-profit organization created in July 2005 to take over the operations of the city shelter and to work directly with Baltimore City Animal Control. We take in homeless, neglected, and unwanted animals in Baltimore City. BARCS' mission is to accept and care for all animals in need and promote responsible pet ownership for a more humane community in Baltimore City.

Better Piggies Rescue is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, and education of pot belly pigs and farm hogs in Arizona.

Guide Dogs for the Blind provides enhanced mobility to qualified individuals through partnership with dogs whose unique skills are developed and nurtured by dedicated volunteers and a professional staff. Established in 1942, Guide Dogs for the Blind continues its dedication to quality student training services and extensive follow-up support for graduates. Our programs are made possible through the teamwork of staff, volunteers and generous donors. Services are provided to students from the United States and Canada at no cost to them.
