Peaceful Valley Donkey Rescue was formed in order to bring attention to the plight of the American Standard Donkey. PVDR, while rebuilding the lives of these sweet and loving animals, also serves as an educational resource for animal stewardship, environmental conservation and compassionate learning. PVDR has rescued donkeys in 28 states including Hawaii. Our new International Donkey Rescue division is working on donkey relief in the Caribbean.

THE POINT DEFIANCE ZOO SOCIETY (THE ZOO SOCIETY) FOSTERS THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN POINT DEFIANCE ZOO & AQUARIUM (PDZA) AND OUR COMMUNITY BY RAISING FUNDS AND GENERATING COMMUNITY SUPPORT. THE ZOO SOCIETY SUPPORTS THE MISSION OF PDZA BY PROVIDING FINANCIAL AND IN-KIND RESOURCES FOR THE ZOO'S RECREATION, EDUCATION AND CONSERVATION PROGRAMS, ITS ANIMAL COLLECTIONS, AND ITS PERMANENT AND TEMPORARY EXHIBITIONS.

The Humane Society of Forsyth County, Georgia is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing humane treatment for animals. We strive to: - Save homeless dogs and cats- Educate pet owners- Reduce pet over-population.

Our mission is to improve the health of homeless animals and increase their chances for survival and adoption. Our ultimate aim is to eliminate animal homelessness and euthanasia. This promotes more humane treatment of animals, increasing their chances of survival and adoption. We:• Provide donated comfort and care items to shelters, rescue groups, pets of the homeless, pets of low-income seniors, pets of veterans, animal transports, fosters and wildlife sanctuaries.• Advocate for animal welfare through service-oriented humane education & public awareness anti-cruelty campaigns.• Raise awareness of the growing population of homeless animals being euthanized in overcrowded shelter systems, promoting adoption as the best option.

Our obligation is to serve as a responsible land steward of the Refuge property and its natural resources, while promoting, implementing, and supporting environmental education.

Our mission here at Peace and Paws is to match the world’s best dogs with the world’s best people. We are committed to improving the lives of these animals, supporting spay and neuter education and trap-neuter-and-return programs, and continually finding ways to preserve the well-being of these rescued animals. We are a non-profit, all volunteer, foster-based rescue committed to saving our treasured friends from high-kill shelters.

Lifesavers Wild Horse Rescue Mission Statement:To provide a sanctuary for saving lives. By rescuing wild mustangs and domestic horses, we provide sanctuary from being abused, abandoned, neglected, and ultimately sent to slaughter and instead focus on gentling and adoption.

At Michelson Found Animals Foundation, our mission is Saving Pets. Enriching Lives. We work to put pets in good homes and keep them there with a range of programs that encompass social enterprise and philanthropy. We operate the first free national microchip registry to help reunite lost pets with their families. With our Adopt & Shop retail stores, we've helped over 20,000 shelter pets find new homes - and reinvest retail sales proceeds to save more pets. And with our grant programs, we've facilitated millions of spay and neuter surgeries for low-income pet owners. To enhance the care and living conditions of domestic animals within the city of Trinidad and Las Animas County, with emphasis on population control, adoption, disease prevention, support of shelters, and the education of the community on animal care issues.

Dachshund Paws and Pals is a non-profit 501(C)3, no kill organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dachshunds and other small breeds from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, and boarding facilities , we have been able to rescue hundreds of dogs, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes. A big focus of our rescue is to educate potential adopters and the general public of the importance of spaying or neutering ones pet.
