The Institute of Range and American Mustang (IRAM) founded by Dayton O. Hyde in 1988 is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation registered in the state of South Dakota. IRAM manages the Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary and owns 11,000 acres of private land dedicated to range preservation and a balanced ecosystem located in the Southern Black Hills. The principle mission was to save this sacred land with Native American and Early Pioneer history from development, preserve the natural habitat of the ingenious wildlife on the land and provide a home for unwanted American Mustangs.

The Amphibian Ark's vision is “The world’s amphibians safe in nature”. AArk's mission is “Ensuring the survival and diversity of amphibian species, focusing on those that cannot currently be safe-guarded in their natural environments”.

The mission of the Elmwood Park Zoo is to foster an appreciation for wildlife and the environment that will inspire active participation in conservation.

Odin’s Heart Wildlife Rehabilitation Inc’s purpose is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release back into nature injured, ill or orphaned wildlife; give treatment and sanctuary to animals; and to provide free education to public with regards to wildlife.

To acquire, maintain, restore and natural areas that predominantly contain endandered and threatened flora and fauna.
