The NPR Foundation was founded with the purpose of raising charitable contributions for the benefit of NPR, disbursing funds to NPR for the operation, promotion, development, capital expansion, and other valid purposes of NPR, and conducting fundraising efforts and engaging in related activities for the benefit of NPR.NPR is an independent, nonprofit media organization that was founded on a mission to create a more informed public. The Honolulu Museum of Art is dedicated to the collection, preservation, interpretation, and teaching of the visual arts, and the presentation of exhibitions, films and videos, performing arts, and public programs specifically relevant to Hawai'i's ethnically diverse community.

The Daedalian Foundation works to inspire and enable young Americans to become military aviators by awarding scholarships, supporting early flight training (including a flying‑training program up to solo), recognizing JROTC cadets, and publishing educational material about military aviation. Its programs focus on scholarships, flight instruction, mentoring and outreach to encourage military aviation careers.

The Jacob Burns Film Center is a nonprofit cultural and education organization that brings people together around film — presenting independent, documentary, and world cinema while also providing media-arts education and professional development. It operates a multi-screen theater and a Media Arts Lab to teach visual literacy, support filmmakers, and engage students and the community.

The Wisconsin Public Radio Association raises funds, stewards gifts, and advocates on behalf of Wisconsin Public Radio so the network can produce and distribute statewide news, cultural programming, and music. Its role is primarily philanthropic and organizational support to ensure WPR’s services remain available across Wisconsin.
