Daily Bread Food Bank is a non-profit, charitable organization that is fighting to end hunger in our communities. Last year, there were over a million client visits to food banks across the GTA. Daily Bread serves the majority of these people through neighbourhood food banks and meal programs in its 171 member agencies.

Bridge to Türkiye Fund (BTF) was founded in 2003 by a few like-minded Turkish-Americans and friends of Türkiye with the simple desire to give back. BTF is founded on citizen-based, democratic and secular principles and encourages all to contribute to the educational welfare of less fortunate children in Türkiye. Based in the Triangle area of North Carolina, BTF grew all across the US over two decades, with many regional giving circles, and today has individual donors and supporting communities in all parts of the globe. Our focus areas are: Enabling equality and equity in education Improving physical and mental health with an emphasis on future generations Disaster relief, recovery and resilience Preservation of natural life and enivronmental sustainability Our simple and shared vision is to unite people and give back as a community. It is an organized attempt to leverage individual diaspora resources who believe in the power of investing together for education and building better futures for disadvantaged youth in Türkiye. BTF maintains a portfolio of carefully vetted Turkish NGOs and localized projects to accomplish its mission. Smile Train is an international children’s charity with a sustainable approach to a single, solvable problem: cleft lip and palate. Millions of children in developing countries with unrepaired clefts live in shame, but more importantly, have difficulty eating, breathing and speaking. Cleft repair surgery is simple, and the transformation is immediate. Our sustainable model provides training and funding to empower local doctors in 85+ developing countries to provide 100%-free cleft repair surgery in their communities. We use the “teach a man to fish” model focusing on training local doctors to perform cleft repairs in their communities. Those doctors then go on to train other doctors creating a long-term, sustainable system. Patients see their smile for the first time, parents cry tears of joy, lives and communities are changed forever. As a result of our efficiency and with the support of our donors and partners around the world, Smile Train has transformed the lives of more than one million children by giving them the power of a smile -- that's roughly 350 surgeries a day and 128,000+ every year.  

The Community FoodBank of New Jersey (CFBNJ), a member of Feeding America®, works to end hunger by distributing food to more than 800 community partners – including food pantries, soup kitchens, and child and senior feeding programs – and by connecting neighbors in need with supportive solutions.

Anera, which has no political or religious affiliation, works on the ground with partners in the West Bank, Gaza, and Lebanon. We mobilize resources for immediate emergency relief and for sustainable, long-term health, education, and economic development. Our staff serve in their communities, navigating the politics that constrict progress to get help where it’s needed most.
