Yet, if we could reach a pre-agreement, not merely among nations but also between different sectors, to act together to fight any future disaster... We would be able to deliver even more efficient and effective disaster aid to even more people, in even less time.

The Canadian Paraplegic Association (Saskatchewan) is working every day to help make communities more inclusive for individuals with physical disabilities. The CPA relies on the support and generosity from organizations and numerous volunteers who share an interest in supporting those with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities which limit mobility. Women In Need Society (WINS) is a charitable organization in Calgary. Established in 1992, WINS’ mission is to help women help themselves through innovative and effective programs and services. WINS works with women in low-income situations. At WINS we understand that to develop human potential to its fullest we must do more than simply provide for the basic human needs of food, clothing, and shelter. Marshall Relief Alliance is a community-led disaster relief and recovery nonprofit that coordinates immediate aid (meals, supplies, intake) and longer-term rebuilding support for residents affected by Hurricane Helene and other local disasters.
