Founded in 1976, Massachusetts Coalition for Occupational Safety and Health (MassCOSH) engages youth and adult community members as leaders in promoting safe, secure jobs and healthy communities throughout eastern Massachusetts. Through education, leadership development and coalition-building, youth and adults gain the skills and support to address dangerous work conditions and prevent work-related diseases and disabilities. MassCOSH has a special focus on immigrants and other lower-income adults, and young people of color who often work in jobs that are the most unsafe and unhealthy.

Primary Source promotes history and humanities education by connecting educators to people and cultures throughout the world. In partnership with teachers, scholars and the broader community, Primary Source provides learning opportunities and curriculum materials for K-12 educators. By introducing global content, Primary Source shapes the way teachers and students learn, so that their knowledge is deeper and their thinking is flexible and given to inquiry.

Kesher is a successful Jewish educational program serving children in the Cambridge-Somerville area with a project-based Hebrew-infused curriculum, challenging students intellectually with the pleasures of learning, community participation, and Jewish tradition. Kesher is an accredited educational institution that includes both pre-school and after-school programs.

Reach Out and Read prepares America's youngest children to succeed in school by partnering with doctors to prescribe books and encourage families to read together. Doctors, nurse practitioners, and other medical professionals incorporate Reach Out and Read's evidence-based model into regular pediatric checkups, by advising parents about the importance of reading aloud and giving developmentally-appropriate books to children. The program begins at the 6-month checkup and continues through age 5, with a special emphasis on children growing up in low-income communities. Families served by Reach Out and Read read together more often, and their children enter kindergarten with larger vocabularies and stronger language skills, better prepared to achieve their potential. Reach Out and Read is working toward the day when all children enter kindergarten with highly-engaged parents, performing at grade level, and prepared to excel.

CHCF (The Committee for Hispanic Children and Families) combines education and advocacy to expand opportunities for children and families, and strengthen the voice of the Latino community.

We aim to provide early education enrichment opportunities at affordable prices to all of our community's families. Kula for Karma’s mission is to bring the healing power of yoga, meditation, and stress management programs to those recovering from mental health, trauma, and addiction challenges. Our goal is to provide access to customized, whole person, wellness programs to communities impacted by the mental health crisis plaguing our nation. Since 2007 we’ve pioneered these programs in hospital systems, schools, treatment centers, and homeless youth and crisis centers.
