Saint Martin de Porres Academy is a faith-based, NativityMiguel middle school that provides a tuition-free, extended-day education for underserved girls and boys from low-income families in the New Haven area. We are an independent Catholic school committed to a belief in the dignity and worth of every person. We strive to provide each child with a promising start in life and to equip them to fulfill their academic potential while achieving spiritual and social maturity. We welcome children of all faiths, races, and cultures.

Trinity School creates a community of learners in a diverse and distinctly elementary-only environment, in which each child develops the knowledge, skills, and character to achieve his or her unique potential as a responsible, productive, and compassionate member of the School and greater community.

The mission of Incarnate Word Academy is to challenge young women of faith to achieve their God-given potential as academically successful Women of the Word, following the example of Jesus, the Incarnate Word, by promoting human dignity, thereby empowering themselves and others to make a positive impact on our world.

Educational Institutions and Related Activities

The Center for Teaching and Learning is a K-8 demonstration school dedicated to the development and dissemination of authentic, rigorous, and joyful methods for teaching across the curriculum. We seek to teach and influence both a cross-section of children of mid-coastal Maine and, through our intern program, presentations, and publications, classroom teachers throughout the U.S.

Blue Oak School offers a challenging and stimulating education to children of diverse backgrounds and interests. Balancing structure with choice and the requirements of the group with the gifts of the individual, the School holds itself to the highest standards of responsible educational innovation, so that students develop the skills and habits of learning that endure. Through the culture and community of the School, teachers nurture the development of character and foster confidence, creativity, flexibility and curiosity in each child. Students in turn encourage each other to learn. Relationships among freedom, responsibility, community and environment are explored through studies that engage students as stewards in service to the School, the region and the world.

Kesher Newton is an innovative Jewish after-school program for grades K-8 that provides excellent experiential education in Jewish history, culture, ethics and modern Hebrew in a joyful, "camp-like" atmosphere. We are a pluralistic Jewish community that is welcoming to all.

The EPJA is a community elementary and middle school providing outstanding education through an integrated Jewish and secular curriculum with a nurturing Jewish environment. Our graduates gain the knowledge, commitment, and character for making positive life choices and their pursuits.

KATHA is a "profit-for-all" nonprofit. We work in the broad areas of language, culture and translation, as well as poverty alleviation. Story and storytelling are two powerful tools we use as agents of change, teachers and publishers.

Moriah's mission is to deliver an academic program of the highest caliber while instilling a sense of commitment to Torat Yisrael, Am Yisrael and Medinat Yisrael. Our school emphasizes the use of a variety of modalities in the classroom and beyond to enable each child to realize his or her potential in the spheres of academic, religious and personal growth. Our graduates leave Moriah with deep pride in their Jewish heritage and an appreciation for the role they can play in improving the world in which they live. Serving as "a home away from home" for children from nursery through the eighth grade, Moriah has become one of the largest yeshivas in Bergen County.It is recognized for its pursuit of educational excellence, its commitment to developing the fullest potential of each of its students, and most importantly, its dedication to produce learned and fully committed Torah-observant Jews. Moriah strives to impart to its children a strong sense of values and ethical standards, and to endow them with the skills they need to become knowledgeable, successful, and fully contributing members of the communities in which they live. Moriah seeks to instill in its students an intense love of Am Yisrael and Eretz Yisrael, the People of Israel and the Land of Israel. Within the walls of Moriah, our Jewish heritage is transmitted to a new generation, a generation which holds the future of our people in its hands.
