Founded in 1998 by leading conservation ecologists, PBI conducts scientific research, training and outreach in ecology, conservation biology, botany and natural resource management, with an emphasis on climate change vulnerability, environmental futures and conservation leadership training. We are especially active in the U.S. Pacific Northwest, and in Argentina, but we have conducted work throughout the Americas.

SHOW stands for Start Helping Our Wateresources. Our goals encompass everything from educating others about the importance of clean water to actually building clean water resources around us such as wells, filtration systems, etc.

ELI’s mission is to foster innovative, just, and practical law and policy solutions to enable leaders across borders and sectors to make environmental, economic, and social progress. We build the skills and capacity of tomorrow’s leaders and institutions, research and analyze complex and pressing environmental challenges, promote and disseminate the best thinking through print and electronic media, and convene people with diverse perspectives to build understanding through robust debate.

ECC provides DC youth with the opportunity to reclaim two of the country's most threatened resources- the environment and themselves. Our mission is to restore the environment with the strong arms and minds of ECC members; to educate and train Corps members; inspire them, and open doors to future employment; and to empower communities by improving economic opportunity and inspiring pride of place.
