SBA was founded in 1998 on a Fort Worth kitchen table by 3 mothers whose children were victims of Shaken Baby Syndrome, (SBS/AHT) and could find no resources or support. Over the past 20 years, SBA has supported victim families with children in need and those who have died while developing into a nationally recognized forensic training and case consulting agency for professionals in the field of child physical abuse.
