The Garment Worker Center (GWC) is a worker rights organization whose mission is to organize low-wage garment workers in Los Angeles in the fight for social and economic justice. GWC addresses the systemic problems of wage theft, unhealthy and unsafe working conditions, and the abusive and inhumane treatment faced by workers on-the-job.

CISV educates and inspires action for a more just and peaceful world. Since 1951, CISV has been offering a range of local activities, international camps, family-hosted exchanges and community-based projects. Our Educational Principles are that we appreciate the similarities between people and value their differences, we support social justice and equality of opportunity for all, we encourage the resolution of conflict through peaceful means, and we support the creation of sustainable solutions to problems relating to our impact upon each other and the natural environment.

BHeart is a volunteer organization that focuses on issues and supports projects important to Bosnian and Herzegovinian women and their families.

Mental Health America of Middle Tennessee connects the community with specialized mental health and wellness resources, provides services that improve the quality of life, and promotes effective services where mental health needs exist.

Immigration Counseling Service is Oregon’s oldest, and only, independent nonprofit immigration law firm, with offices in Hood River and Portland, and a monthly legal clinic in Central Oregon. Our mission is to strengthen communities and help bring stability to individuals and their families by providing high quality low-cost immigration legal services, outreach, and education to foreign-born residents of Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Interfaith Peace-Builders fosters a network of active individuals who understand the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the US role in it. To nurture this network, we lead delegations of people from diverse backgrounds to Israel/Palestine. These delegations emphasize learning from those immersed in the reality of the conflict and advancing the work of Israelis and Palestinians committed to nonviolent struggle and peace with justice. We empower delegates to educate their local communities upon return and advocate for a more just US foreign policy.

Central Washington Justice For Our Neighbors (CWJFON) supports a hospitality ministry that welcomes immigrants by providing free or low-cost, expert immigration legal services to low-income immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers. We also engage in advocacy for immigrant justice, and offer education to communities of faith and to the public.

BECA exists to promote cultural exchange and provide affordable bilingual education. In our volunteer-driven bilingual school model, Central American students learn from dedicated volunteer teachers, and those volunteers learn from the community in which they are immersed. Providing educational access and empowerment to the most financially disadvantaged members of a community is a defining characteristic of our program; it should come as no surprise that "beca" means scholarship in Spanish.
