Since 2004, SOWMA has tutored 3,200+ students, celebrated 39 college graduations and distributed 31,000+ customized backpacks.

U.S.VETS is the nation’s largest nonprofit provider of comprehensive services to homeless and at-risk veterans. After 32 years of operation, U.S.VETS has grown from a single facility to 40 residential and service centers in 18 locations across 7 states – Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Texas, Virginia, and Maryland – as well as Washington D.C and the U.S. Territory of Guam. We provide wraparound and preventive services that create pathways out of homelessness for veterans and their families. Our services include housing, case management, mental health support, workforce development, and more.

THE RESCUE MISSION OF UTICA PROVIDES A WIDE ARRAY OF SERVICES AND HOUSING TO THE HOMELESS, THE MENTALLY ILL, THOSE STRUGGLING WITH ADDICTIONS SEEKING TO REESTABLISH THEMSELVES IN AND TO CONTRIBUTE TO SOCIETY. IT IS THE LARGEST PROVIDER OF SUCH SERVICES BETWEEN SYRACUSE AND SCHENECTADY.
