Rochester American Warrior Hockey aims to provide a recreational hockey team for military veterans, active military, reserves, and their family members in Rochester, New York. Rochester American Warrior Hockey was created to strengthen veteran community engagement and provide veteran camaraderie supporting a return to civilian life.

At this time Honor Flight Arizona provides WWll, Korean, and Vietnam Veterans with a trip to Washington D. C to see the memorials built in their honor. Trip includes airfare, meals, hotel, and transportation. Honor Flight Arizona. We sponsored 244 veterans and we used 91 guardians on these trips to care for the Veterans.

Organizing outdoor events for Veterans can provide them with opportunities for camaraderie,support and engagement with nature. Outdoor activities have been shown to have numerousphysical, mental and emotional benefits, making them especially valuable for Veterans whomay be dealing with the challenges of transitioning to civilian life or coping with service-relatedissues.

Today, through the Tillman Military Scholars program, the Foundation invests in military veterans and their spouses through educational scholarships—building a diverse community of leaders committed to serving others. To date, the Foundation has awarded $4.1 million in scholarship funds to 290 Tillman Military Scholars pursuing education at every level from freshmen undergraduates to Ph.D. candidates. Overall, our Scholars represent 90 different academic institutions nationwide. Our mission is to encourage and empower Tillman Military Scholars to make a sustainable impact globally and in their local communities, while increasing awareness of the unique issues facing veterans and military families today.
