Our Vision Blue Star Families is establishing and fostering engagement and partnerships to create recognizable, consistent communities that support the health and resilience that military families need to succeed. We engage military families and community members by delivering solutions to the challenges faced by military families. Save the Brave (STB) is a certified, one hundred percent, nonprofit organization devoted to provide camaraderie and stress management programs. STB is committed to establishing connectivity of the mind, body, and spirit by creating solid support networks that are entirely accessible to all Veterans in need. Through diverse outreach programs and financial assistance, STB provides a safe and comfortable space for Veterans to connect with each other, share stories, struggles, and accomplishments to heal the wounds that go largely unseen.

Honor Flight Austin

Transport America’s veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit those memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices. Honor Flight Austin honors World War II, Korean and Vietnam Veterans of the U.S. armed services for all their sacrifices by locating, selecting, and transporting groups of Veterans to and from Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect upon U.S. war memorials. Honor Flight Austin is organized and operated exclusively for the purposes specified in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code 1986, or corresponding provisions of any subsequent federal tax laws.

New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans

The Mission of the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans is to extend a helping hand to homeless veterans who have served the United States honorably in peace and war who are addressing the challenges of addiction, trauma, severe and persistant mental illness, and/or unemployment. And, who will commit themselves to sobriety, non-violence, and working for personal change; to offer homeless veterans temporary, save overnight accomodation and basic nutrition; to offer in a fiscally sound manner effective longer term programs which best meet the veteran's transition needs, utilizing the full range of government, foundation grants and private contributions; to refer veterans to other public and private institutions through a network of service providers who can meet their needs, not duplicating what others can do better; to create and operate housing for veterans as an important solution to homelessness; and to one day become recognized as the most effective private veteran's transition program in the country.

United Through Reading helps military members, veterans, and their families stay emotionally connected and build literacy by enabling service members to record and send read-aloud story videos and by distributing books and literacy resources to military families. The program focuses on strengthening family bonds during separations and promoting early literacy and well‑being.
