The Little Sisters uphold the dignity and value of each life, promote the well-being of every needy elderly person and keep vigil with them when dying. The Sisters embrace poverty and depend on the generosity of others who are willing to share in their mission. The congregation was founded in Brittany, France by St. Jeanne Jugan in 1839. Since their inception, the Little Sisters have given quality care to over 1,000,000 aged poor. Today 2,900 Little Sisters serve in over 200 homes in 31 countries.
Butler Meals on Wheels is a small, volunteer‑driven 501(c)(3) that prepares and delivers hot and cold meals weekdays to homebound people in the Butler area to help maintain nutrition and enable clients to remain living at home.

Since 1969, Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island has worked to address the issues of food insecurity and social isolation that are risk factors for negative health outcomes among homebound older adults. Through nutritional and other programming, the organization works to empower seniors across the state to live healthier, safer and happier lives as they age with independence.As an independent nonprofit, every dollar donated to us goes directly toward helping Rhode Island residents.
