Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA), a congressionally chartered veterans service organization founded in 1946, has developed a unique expertise on a wide variety of issues involving the special needs of our members veterans of the armed forces who have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction. Dementia Society raises awareness and education across the United States and Canada for the syndrome known as Dementia (including Alzheimer's disease, Vascular Dementia, Lewy body, FTD, and other causes). We connect families to local resources; create meaningful therapeutic moments for those living with Dementia and their caregivers through non-medical programs that include music, movement, and the arts. In the years ahead, an estimated 89% of the funds necessary to sustain and grow St. Jude must be raised by ALSAC from generous donors."
