Food on Foot (FoF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting our unhoused and low-income neighbors in Los Angeles with nutritious meals, clothing, and a fresh start through life-skills training, full-time employment, and permanent housing.

Established in 2005, The GEANCO Foundation saves and transforms lives in Africa. We conduct complex surgical missions and run an innovative program to fight anemia in Nigeria. Through our system of modern, solar-powered rural maternal clinics, we help poor, vulnerable pregnant women safely deliver healthy babies. In addition to donating laptops, tablets, books, medicine and sports facilities to schools, our David Oyelowo Leadership Scholarship for Girls provides full tuition, healthcare, and social & psychological support to young female survivors of terrorism and gender inequality in Nigeria. Advocates for Children and Families, Inc. (ACF) was founded in 1992 to provide ethical adoption services to children and families. Throughout our 30 years of operation there have been many changes in legislation and advances in the evidence-based social sciences related to adoption, that have influenced our model of practice. One aspect of our work that has never changed is ACF's child-centered approach of prioritizing the well-being of children. Our mission is to promote and assist in the formation of stable families. The well-being of children is our priority. We believe every child deserves a permanent home in a safe, nurturing environment.  Our team is comprised of attorneys, licensed mental health professionals, and support staff who are specially trained and continually engaged in advancements within the field of child welfare and adoption. ACF's commitment to advocating for children and families has resulted in over 1,026 children finding stability and permanency within a nurturing family. Right now, young trans people, particularly Black and Brown trans youth, are under attack across the country and around the world. The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated unsafe conditions for trans youth who are houseless, in foster care, in detention, and in abusive or otherwise unsafe housing situations. Construction Sport is built to provide sporting opportunities for construction workers to enjoy themselves, in doing so this allows us to let off steam in a positive environment. Within the Construction industry physical health and safety has been prioritised, the protocols that have been introduced have been made significant improvements, the statistics prove this, on-site fatalities have dropped significantly over the past decades, but that’s just half the battle. Construction Sport has been launched to give the Construction workforce the opportunity of much needed downtime, away from the tools, away from laptops, away from the stresses of day to day life. By doing this we create opportunities for people to enjoy themselves, let their hair down and address their mental health. By building teams, we save lives.

The Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity is the only charity that provides emotional, physical and financial wellbeing support to the construction community and their families. A crucial element of our strategy is to provide a wide range of free and widely available pro-active resources to support the industry.
